Michael Hannah
Michael Hannah has been affiliated with the Miss America Program for 19 years, served as a Miss Texas Field Director for three years, and throughout the 1990's was the President and Executive Director of the Miss Houston, Miss Harris County, and Miss River Oaks Organizations.
He has been a member of the Board of Trustees, the Chairman of the Miss Texas Organization Local Judges Coordinators, and scriptwriter for both the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant and Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen Pageant. Michael has judged local and state pageants, vocal competitions, talent shows, public speaking contests, and dance competitions in 26 states and in the District of Columbia. He has training in piano, violin, accordion, and voice.
Michael is a Managing Consultant for IBM Global Business Services, specializing in Healthcare Financial Systems Implementations, Business Process Improvement, and Business Realignment/ Reengineering. This position requires him to spend lots of time in the air commuting between his permanent residence in Houston, Texas and his projects all over the United States and other parts of the world.
He is the father of two grown sons: Kristoffer "Kit" Hannah and Jonathan Michael Hannah, both residing in California.
Brooke Anderson Healy
Brooke Anderson Healy was born and raised in Utah. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ballet, with an emphasis in teaching and performing at the University of Utah. She has taught ballet, jazz, and tap throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Currently, Brooke owns her own dance studio, "Utah Dance Artists". Her extensive dance training has afforded her many opportunities beyond the classroom and stage.
One of her greatest achievements was serving as Miss Utah 1994. During her year as Miss Utah, Brooke spoke to over 200 of Utah's schools on the topic of "Youth Against Violence", traveled to Japan twice as a goodwill ambassador for the state of Utah. For three years, Brooke served as the choreographer/producer for the Miss Utah Scholarship Pageant, and has been a pageant judge throughout Utah, as well as in Arizona and Maryland. Brooke has been married for twelve years to Roy Healy. They have a three-year-old daughter, Raegan, and currently reside in West Jordan, Utah.
Rick Tedrick
Rick Tedrick is the Chief Financial Officer of the NRA Foundation. He has been employed at the NRA for the past nine years. He is responsible for the travel, investment, banking, and insurance relationships.
After graduating with a BS degree in accounting from the University of Maryland in 1985, Rick began his career at Ernst and Young in Washington DC. Over the next nine years, he worked on many not-for-profit, insurance, health care, and mutual fund engagements. Rick served as the lead audit recruiter at Ernst and Young (D.C.), as an instructor for their national recruiting program, as well as a regional instructor for several staff and senior programs. From 1994 to 1998, Rick was the controller of the American Petroleum Institute, where as controller, he managed the financial activities of API 's $90 million budget.
Rick obtained his MBA from Johns Hopkins University in 1997. He is a member of the AICPA, MACPA, and the University of Maryland Terrapin Club. He also has judged over 100 state and local pageants in the Miss America system over the past fifteen years. Rick resides in Oakton, Virginia.
