As successful leaders in our community, I’m sure you realize the importance of education and personal achievement. In a society where negatives sometimes outweigh the positives, it is gratifying to see the human spirit excel in America’s youth. One outlet in which young women have the opportunity to demonstrate their intelligence, talent and social awareness is the Miss New York Scholarship Program, an official State preliminary to the Miss America Scholarship Competition.
Rich in history and social significance, the Miss New York and Miss America Scholarship Organizations are not-for-profit Corporations that have maintained a tradition of empowering American women to achieve their personal and professional goals. In the face of diversifying roles for women in American society today — public service, educational achievement, and scholarship continue to be our primary objectives.
Scholarships are vital to the success of our foundation. To that end, your support is essential! By supporting our non-profit organization, you help provide scholarship assistance to the talented and motivated young women who participate in our program, as they strive to achieve their educational goals.
Please consider joining forces with the other outstanding members of our ‘Elite 100-Club,’ which specifically funds the $10,000 scholarship awarded to Miss New York 2008.
To be included in this elite group, simply make a $100* donation to our non-profit scholarship foundation, The Empire State Educational Scholarship Fund, Inc. It is through our non-profit foundation that we award scholarship dollars to the outstanding young women who participate in our program.
