Alexandra Mazzucchelli, 16, of Great Kills, Staten Island was crowned Miss New York’s Outstanding Teen 2008 at the conclusion of the state pageant held in Utica, New York on June 1.  Miss Mazzucchelli wowed the judges with her classical vocal rendition of “Tonight” from the musical ‘West Side Story.’  Alexandra represented the Empire State in the national Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition in Orlando, Florida August 12-16 where she competed for a $30,000 college scholarship and other awards!  Congratulations to Alexandra, Miss New York’s Outstanding Teen!
